Tonight's Hunt
Kyrr is a wanderer these days, often seen roaming the Black Shroud’s edges, loitering at the Bloodsands, or drinking too hard in backwater taverns. She’s restless, chasing something she can’t quite name — maybe a worthy opponent, maybe another moonlit frenzy, maybe just an excuse to let the shadow stretch.

When the Moon Bled
Kyrr was once a skilled hunter, guiding her tribe through the deep Shroud. Then came the night the sky tore open, stars screamed, and the moon ran blood red.
Men and beasts alike went mad. By dawn, she was the only one left alive — blades wet, shadow too long, heart still pounding. She’s been chasing that night ever since, hungry for the rush, for the challenge, for the proof that she is still alive.

Her Shadow Does Not Always BehaveMost of the time it’s subtle — a little too long under the moonlight, a little too sharp-edged by firelight. But when the hunger takes her, it moves first.Sometimes it leans the wrong way.Sometimes it stretches toward prey she hasn’t noticed yet.Sometimes it rises — just a fraction — like it’s watching on its own.It never speaks. Not in words. But when Kyrr fights, it dances — a second silhouette, every motion just slightly out of sync. Some swear they’ve seen it move when she hasn’t.Kyrr and Moon Phases
Kyrr's mood and mannerisms are loosely tied to the current phase of the moon in-game, but since that switches pretty often I'll probably take some liberties here when it makes sense.
Cross Her PathThe Huntress: Kyrr is almost always tracking something — a beast gone rogue, a poacher, even a rumor of something dangerous lurking nearby. She can be approached for help with hunts, to track someone or something, or to share knowledge of the woods. The Moonwatcher: She obsessively tracks lunar phases, sketching them in a small journal she keeps tucked away. If found on a clear night, she’s likely on a rooftop or perched on a branch, staring skyward, whispering to herself. The Fighter: Kyrr doesn’t just enjoy a fight — she needs one sometimes. She’s quick to throw a punch or draw steel when provoked, but equally quick to laugh when someone manages to keep up with her.The Restless: Idle hands drive her mad. When she’s stuck too long in one place, she paces, climbs, sharpens weapons, or goes looking for trouble. The Drinking Buddy: When she’s not hunting, she’s usually drinking — and telling wild stories about the hunts she’s survived. Some of them sound true, some are definitely exaggerated, but she tells them all with the same grin. The Protector: For all her wildness, Kyrr is fiercely loyal once she claims someone as hers. Threaten them, and she’ll be the first one between them and danger — or the last thing their enemy ever sees. The Wildling: Kyrr feels more at home in the woods than in the city. She knows hidden paths, animal tracks, and places where no one should go. She’s a good guide — if you can keep up.The Shadowed: When the mood takes her, Kyrr can go very quiet — still as a stone, watching from the dark. She doesn’t start fights in this state — but she doesn’t walk away from them either.Forest Whispers
